I have served 15 years on the Gravette School Board.   My three sons have graduated from Gravette Public Schools and my daughter is currently  in the 9th grade.

We have worked to make our school one of the best in the state.  Education of the next generation is vital in order for  Arkansas to be able to compete.  The state has an important role to play, but the success of our schools will be most influenced by parents and the local community.

Schools must be held accountable and tax dollars must not be wasted.  The stakes are too high.

Kiwanis - I am a current member and past president of our local Kiwanis club.  I have been a member for 15 years.

American Legion - I am a lifetime member of the American Legion.

Basketball Coach - One of my biggest challenges.  I coached my daughter’s basketball team for three years. (4th-6th grade).

Veteran’s Airlift Command - I am am a member of an organization that provides free airplane transportation for soldiers wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.  I had the privilege of flying a young army soldier from Oklahoma City to Branson for a service honoring wounded female soldieers.
